Sticks & Ticks was created to provide a forum for sharing, cataloging, and commenting on the world of data – numbers, metrics, analytics, visualizations.

This site owes its title to Edward Tufte who remarked during his “Presenting Data and Information” seminar that he referred to the classic x-and-y-axis visual as “sticks and ticks”.
